Psychotherapy Practice in 1040 Vienna

Why psychotherapy?

Therapy focuses on whatever is troubling or preoccupying you. This may include emotional distress, difficult periods in your life, major changes or issues that keep recurring. Together, we will take the time to gain a clearer understanding of what you are experiencing, recognise connections and develop new perspectives.

You decide which topics you would like to talk about and what feels important to you. Therapy offers a space where you can bring whatever is on your mind.

How do I get started with psychotherapy?

Initial consultation

During the initial consultation, we will get to know each other, explore together what brought you to me and address what questions you might have.

Psychotherapy

If it feels right for both of us, we can arrange further sessions. Individual therapy usually takes place weekly, while group therapy is held every two weeks.

You are welcome to contact me about any issue you would like to address in therapy. Particular areas of focus in my work include:

  • Chronic illness

  • Identity & self-esteem

My approach

My psychotherapeutic approach is Psychodrama. Depending on what you bring to therapy and what seems appropriate at the time, we may also use sociometric and other action methods.

I work in a way that is sensitive to discrimination, LGBTQIA+-friendly, and kink-aware.

What does "in training under supervision" mean?

I am currently completing the final stage of my training as a psychotherapist. My clinical work is regularly reviewed and professionally supported in supervision as part of my training. As I have not yet completed my training, sessions are not eligible for reimbursement through the Austrian public health insurance system and therefore need to be paid for privately.
